Biography Work

Lately first grade has been working hard on our writing skills. We have learned all about letters, opinion writing, and narratives. Our most recent project was all about biographies. We began this process by writing biographies of our own lives and even incorporated a timeline to go with. Our time lines were complete with baby pictures and pictures of us now. We then moved on to learning all about a famous person to create their life timeline. Our famous people included Thomas Edison, Jackie Robinson, Helen Keller, Rosa Parks and many others.
